Engaging with our external ecosystem is not simply a reflection of corporate principles; it is an essential component of our long-term strategy to manage our broader footprint and support our sustainability aspirations.

Our strategy is simple: We integrate sustainability into the commercial relationship. We work with a complex ecosystem of data center operators, hardware manufacturers, and logistics partners. Our goal is to transform this ecosystem from a source of carbon risk into a source of shared innovation. We do this by embedding environmental performance metrics directly into our Responsible Supply Chain Program (RSCP).

The Three Tiers of Engagement

1. Selection and Screening: Sustainability is a gatekeeper. We assess potential partners not just on cost and quality, but on their ability to provide transparent emissions data and commit to science-based targets such as the RCP.
2. Operational Alignment: We do not just ask for data; we standardize it. Whether it is a colocation provider or a server manufacturer, we require partners to align with our reporting standards (CDP, ISO 14001), ensuring that claims are backed by auditable facts.
3. Capacity Building: We recognize that not every supplier is at the same stage of maturity. We actively share our own playbooks — on renewable procurement, efficiency, and circularity — to help our strategic partners accelerate their own decarbonization journeys.
